Frequently asked questions:

Q: What will a session be like?
A:
First we will discuss the area of clutter and talk about how we're going to tackle it. We then start decluttering: going through the items deciding whether they are to keep or take to a second-hand shop, sell, recycle or throw away. The remaining items can then be re-organised into a system you feel you can keep under control.

Q: How long will it take?
A: You can choose the session length or I can estimate the time it may take after viewing the room(s). The time it takes will largely depend on the size and density of the cluttered region and how much you would like to take part in the session.

Q: Will I be made to throw everything away?
A:
In the session, only the clutter will be got rid of – this means the items that you no longer use, love or need.

Q: What happens after the session?
A: I will take one car load of your clutter away with me (to second hand shops, or to recycling facilities). The rest of the decluttered items will need to be taken to the relevant place or sold (e.g. car boot sale or city dump). I am happy to continue contact via email for continued support, should you want it, and for any further sessions in your home.

Q: What do I do now?
